We are happy to offer a refund or exchange for online purchases only. 

  • Please contact us within 5 business days of receiving your item.
  • Items can either be returned to our Hobart store or sent via post.
  • All postage is paid for at the customers expense.
  • Items may need to be assessed before refund / exchange is issued 
  • Please allow up to 5 business days once we receive your item for any refund / exchange to be processed. 

  Refunds on purchased made in store will only be issued in line with Australian Consumer Law. For more on this please see the ACCC website:

All garments sold by Formerly Known As are pre-loved, and therefore may contain holes, rips, fading, worn logos etc. We believe this is what adds the character and individual style to the clothes, and is what we absolutely love! We do our best to note down any wear and tear, but on the odd occasion may miss something minor and do not take responsibility for this.  

Items do not always come to us pre washed and may require laundering on arrival at their new home.
